​I’ve been in therapy with Elizabeth Baratta for two years while I’ve been undergoing the biggest transition in my life. I can’t say enough good things about her work with me. Her understanding and compassion for the trauma I’ve experienced has helped me better understand how they've impacted my life. I am making better choices in managing my fears which has strengthened my emotional resiliency.  I’m finally tackling long cherished goals, that without her help, I might not be accomplishing.  I’m very grateful for the progress I’ve made while working with Elizabeth. 
   
​    This was a response from one of the pro-bono cases I had during the COVID -19 pandemic. One session therapy can be really useful!

​     Delayed in writing here, but I wanted to thank you for our session on Wednesday morning! I appreciate you reminding me of the adventures I have ahead,  
     and how looking forward to that can help me cope better with strange times. Though there will be moments I feel lost or like I'm not doing enough, I can tell
     myself I've gotten out of bad situations before - thank you for vocalizing that.
     I also appreciated the short mindfulness practice, as it's reinvigorated my need to be present in the moment, and a good reminder to keep practicing
     meditation!
